For all types of surfaces (natural stone and engineered stone) generally a clean, damp cloth will do the trick. For more stubborn stains, use a few drops of non-bleach, non-abrasive, neutral PH stone cleaner (available at most hardware stores like bunnings), or a small amount of mild liquid dishwashing detergent mixed with warm water.

For best results, use a clean rag mop on floors and a soft cloth for other surfaces.
NOTE: Some manufacturers (like Caesarstone or Smart Stone) will send you a complimentary cleaning kit with cream cleaner included, when you register your warranty online. Check manufacturer’s websites for details.

This is not recommended for any natural or reconstituted stone benchtop as the sudden change in temperature can cause it to react and either stain (burn), fracture or crack.

Granite is a more suitable and durable stone than marble to use for a kitchen benchtop as it has a high resistance to scratching and heat, will not etch with acidic liquids and does not absorb moisture like marble. It is also more resistant to bacteria as it is less porous. Beware of cheap imitation granites though as these contain some calcite and will etch. Test with lemon juice to ensure the stone you are purchasing is pure granite. If the stone contains some calcite it will etch or develop a dull spot. If you use marble, expect it to stain, and understand that to keep it looking good it will require regular repolishing.

Production of your stone benchtop usually takes 5-10 working days from final check measure (templating), in some cases we can do it sooner than this.

However, during busy times there may be a longer wait than usual. Our estimators will let you know our current lead times at the time of quoting. If timing is critical on your job, please let us know during the quoting stage and we will advise whether it is achievable before we proceed.

Yes, we do offer an installation service for a small fee. Simply specify on your quote request and we will give you a supply and install price. All payments must be fully cleared a day before installation date.
